These terms govern your use of runningtowardthefire.com, the Under Pressure Scorecard, and anything you buy from EGN Media & Publishing LLC (“we”, “us”) through this site. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
Education and training, not advice
Running Toward the Fire, the Fireproof Journal and the scorecard are education and training. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for any of them. The scorecard is a short self-assessment, not a diagnosis. If you are working with a physician, therapist, counselor, attorney or financial professional, keep working with them.
Results
We sell instruments, not outcomes. What you get from the book or the Journal depends on whether you do the work. We make no promise of any particular result.
Orders and delivery
Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars. Digital products are delivered by email once payment clears. If your delivery email does not arrive, write to us and we will resend it. Print products ship to the address you provide; delivery times are estimates.
Refunds
All sales are final. Digital products are delivered instantly and are yours to keep, so they are not refundable. If a print copy arrives defective or damaged, send us a photo and we will replace it; no return is needed. Purchases made through Amazon or another retailer follow that retailer’s policy.
Your license
When you buy a digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it. You may print the Journal for your own use. You may not resell, share, post or distribute our products, in whole or in part.
Our content
Everything on this site and in our products, including text, design, names and marks, belongs to EGN Media & Publishing LLC or its licensors. You may quote brief passages with attribution. Any other use needs our written permission.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to it, and no automated collection of its content.
Third-party services
Checkout and payment are provided by third parties, and their terms apply to your use of them.
Disclaimers and limits
The site and our products are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or a product is limited to the amount you paid us for that product.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
